Nor-Tek Teknologisenter (NOR-TEK) is part of a not-for profit research and technology development group employing over 500 specialist engineers, who are employed amongst nine individual institutes, each with a specific technological competence.

In particular, NOR-TEK delivers innovation support and assistance to establish R&D projects within national and European funded programmes.  These programmes are delivered to industry throughout Norway in the following technological fields

  • communications systems
  • analogue and digital electronics
  • computer networks and microwave engineering
  • sensor technology
  • control systems and algorithm development
  • materials engineering
  • surface and corrosion protection
  • biotechnological processes
